This mulled wine is delicious and amazingly easy to make. Taste refreshing when served chilled. Pair this chill mulled wine with our red grape coconut jelly as part of your toppings and you enjoy this traditional brew with a twist!

- 1 bottle of full bodied red wine (grenache, merlot or shiraz)
- 10 cloves, whole
- 50g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
- 1 orange, sliced into rounds
- 1 vanilla pod, split
- 2 x cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsp Cointreau liqueur
- 2 cups of ice
- To serve: Kit Ts Red Grape Coconut Jelly, orange slices, extra cinnamon sticks, and star anise
Combine wine , sugar , orange , cloves , cinnamona nd vanilla in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil. Remove from heat. Set aside to let cool and infuse.
Add Cointreau to the wine mixture and stir to combine. Transfer to a jug and place in the fridge for 2 hours to chill.
Add strawberries to the wine mixture. Divide ice among serving glasses. Pour over mulled wine and serve immediately.
