Shipping policy

We provide shipping Australia-wide.

For the past 5 years, we've used flat rate shipping — with only the occasional dollar-here, dollar-there adjustment — because we wanted every one of you to be able to enjoy our yummy popping pearls without shipping getting in the way. Behind the scenes, we've absorbed a lot of the rising shipping cost ourselves to keep things simple and affordable for you.

But Australia Post's charges (and fuel surcharges!) have gone up significantly, and it's finally reached the point where we can't keep absorbing it. This is a difficult decision for us, but it's one we have to make to keep MyKitts afloat and keep serving all of you popping pearls lovers for years to come.

Bubble tea ingredients are heavy too — a single bottle of popping pearls weighs 450g on its own, and a 6-bottle order weighs around 2.5kg. When we used our own packaging, Australia Post was charging us up to $25 to send that same 2.5kg order — which is why we've now switched to shipping in Australia Post's own satchels instead, where possible. It's a smarter, more cost-effective way for us to get your order to you, and it helps us keep our rates as fair as we can.

Why we stick with Australia Post

We know Australia Post isn't always the cheapest option out there, but they're who we trust with your orders. Their tracking is accurate, their handling is some of the best in the business, and that matters a lot when we're shipping bottles with liquid and delicate ingredients across the country. We'd rather pay a bit more and know your order arrives safely, than cut corners and risk it arriving damaged — or not at all.

This wasn't an easy decision, and we've done our best to make it as fair as possible — smaller orders stay light and affordable, and bigger orders get free shipping sooner than before.

Handling Time

To make sure you get to make your own bubble tea as soon as possible, we strive to process all our orders as quickly as possible.

Delivery To Australia

Standard shipping can vary from 3 to 12 business days (WA and NT), but in most cases, you should allow approximately 5 business days from the shipping date. 

All postage orders are supplied with a tracking number to help you keep track of your delivery.

AU Standard Shipping: Start from $15

Free Shipping: Orders over $159

AU only Express Shipping: Please contact us on info@mykitts.com if you would like to upgrade to express shipping service.

 

 

Can I change the shipping address after the order is placed?

Please contact our team and they will follow it up for you.
IF your order has not been shipped yet then we can change it for you.

 

What if I want to return an order?

You can organize a return of the items in order to process a refund for you as long as the following conditions are met:

• The returned item(s) must be sealed and in brand new condition;
• There must be proof of purchase(eg. receipt or order number); and
• Any return postage and initial postage will be covered by the buyer.

 

What if my order got returned?

If you have not collected your order from the Post Office and the order got returned to us.
Buyer will need to pay for postage again for the order to ship out again.

 

All return orders will need to be confirmed with us by email. If return is accepted, we will provide the return postal address. You must provide us with the tracking number.

Please note that any return postage must be covered at the customer’s expense.

 As soon as we receive the item(s), the refund can be initiated to the payment details used to make the initial order.
